**Q: Will this work as an on/off toggle for the alesis drum machines?**
A: It’s a momentary contact switch so it depends on the drum machine. I suspect it will work, but can’t be certain.

**Q: Where does it plug in? Will i work with Alesis Melody 61??**
A: Hi, Alesis support here! Melody 61 does not feature a sustain pedal input. For this reason, ASP-1 is not compatible with the Melody 61. Strong and accurate. Could be improved by the connecting cable being more flexible and exiting the unit from the side. Pedal has to be stuck to the floor to avoid movement.
