I set out to find a small flashlight with a simple on off button. I was not able to find anything in the price range I was seeking. Ended up giving up on finding one and bought this. It's not clear in the ad, but this flashlight has a fantastic feature; there is a single button and two cycle through modes you press it very lightly. Pressing it very hard is on and off. It remembers which mode you last used. As a result, as long as I press hard, I have a flashlight with simple on and off capabilities. There is also a mount that is mentioned, it's quite good compared to most, no strap or buckle necessary, it's simple but strong friction fit. Overall build quality is excellent, very comparable to the old school mag lights, but a great deal brighter, with better / faster focusing, quite effective as flood or spot. Frankly I'm shocked by the low price. Having handled it now, I would have expected this product to be closer to $50. Really very pleasantly surprised.
