Review: Uniformly Cut - Love Old Potters. I’m in Texas and winters here aren’t long but when they hit, they can hit hard. Logically electric bill spikes so I started looking into using my fireplace to cut back on running the heater. Best. Choice. Ever! The wood is just fantastic. Pricey, yes but I like that the pieces are mostly uniformly cut (eg not a few good pieces and the rest just kindling). I like to log cabin layer between large logs I get from HEB. Smells divine and helps the fire last.
Review: Good Quality Wood - Wood has gotten expensive but Old Potter is good quality and clean wood. I bought the cherry wood and will now be ordering the hickory.

A: Yes all the logs should be approximately 8" in length and between 2 - 3 inches thick. Each box will contain between 18 and 22 pieces.

**Q: Is this amount smaller or larger than a face cord?**
A: Significantly smaller than a face cord

**Q: Can you saw the wood for smaller pieces?**
A: Yes you can cut them. They are approx. 10 inches in length. They were packaged as 2 stacks side by side in length in the shipping box. I was actually expecting them to be longer. We used them as starter logs in our Solo Stove Wood Burning Fire Pit.

**Q: What is the weight of wood per order?**
A: Depending on the specie, approximately 18 lbs.

It would be better if they were longer. 8” is a tad short and burns up more quickly than a 12” would.
