The top is made of solid spruce or solid mahogany, the sides and backs are also made of solid mahogany. With a new offset X-bracing, we have perfected the resonance behavior and sound of the PS-220E. Inside sits a pickup developed by Fender and Fishman. It neatly captures the tight, articulated tone of the new PS-220E Parlor body shape. The knobs are discreetly placed in the sound hole without compromising the vintage aesthetic. Inside the ceiling there is another pickup, it registers the body vibrations and amplifies them. This signal can be mixed with that of the Sonicore Undersaddle pickup. New design details include pearloid inlays in the snowflake fingerboard, the feather pattern on purfling and rosette, a stripe on the back, and the pickguard in black or tiger stripes. The bridge and 14-flush fingerboard of the PS-220E are made of Ovangkol. The mahogany neck has a slim tapered shape, real bone inlays sit on the saddle and bridge. Comes with hard case. Review: This guitar was a lot smaller than I envisioned, but it has huge sound! Great Fender craftmanship, and it is a beauty to behold as well. The pickup controls were inside so I thought I had misread the description. Plugged it in to my amp and it sounded even better! The rigid case is also of good quality and a nice bonus! I bought a more expensive Fender electric guitar and it only came with a soft gig bag. Review: Nice looking guitar and case, playability is extremely bad.
