The natural citronella patches provide excellent protection against mosquitoes and other biting insects during camping trips, backyard play, and evening sports activities. I love that they work for both kids and adults, and the 78-pack provides excellent coverage for our entire family through the summer season. The patches stay effective for hours and have significantly reduced the number of bug bites my children get during outdoor adventures. The sticker format makes them fun for kids to use and they actually want to wear them, which solves the usual battle with bug spray application. Quality: The patch construction is excellent with strong adhesive that stays in place during active play but removes easily without leaving residue or irritating sensitive skin. The natural citronella scent is pleasant and not overpowering like some chemical repellents that can cause headaches or skin reactions. The patches maintain their effectiveness throughout their stated duration without losing potency or adhesion. The materials are clearly designed with children's safety in mind, using natural ingredients that provide peace of mind for parents concerned about chemical exposure. The packaging keeps patches fresh and maintains their effectiveness until use. Value for Money: These mosquito patches provide outstanding value for chemical-free bug protection that's especially valuable for families with young children. The 78-pack offers excellent coverage for multiple family members throughout the entire mosquito season at a very reasonable cost per patch. The natural approach eliminates concerns about chemical exposure while providing effective protection, making this far more valuable than constantly battling with spray applications. The convenience and kid-friendly format save time and frustration during outdoor activities, making these worth far more than their modest cost for busy families. These mosquito patches have made outdoor activities much more enjoyable for our family by providing effective, natural bug protection. Highly recommend for families wanting safe, convenient insect protection for children and adults! Review: Does the job - These repellents work well. I bought them in 2023. They are used in the garage and around the front and back doors. We have mosquitos, june bugs, wasps, and the red hornets. These effectively keep them away from the entryways so they do not enter the house. We use 6 around each door. They last about a month. update: If they sit around too long, they lose their effectiveness. We bought them in 2024 for mosquitos. They worked great but we did not use them all during the bug season. In 2025, we tried using the remaining stickers but they had lost their potency. They are great if all used when purchased. ## Features - Citronella Patch - Infused with citronella oil. Citronella works naturally to mask the scents of carbon dioxide and lactic acid that your bodies regularly produce and emit. - Mosquito Citronella Patch Stickers - The patches are made using all-natural plant-based ingredients. They are 100% DEET-free. When you notice the citronella scent has faded, you should discard the patch as it has lost its effectiveness. - Stick Them Anywhere - These RiptGear insect stickers are great for children and adults. You can apply them to your clothing, tables, backpacks, and even strollers. They were designed to work in all weather conditions. - Convenient for Travel - The mosquito stickers are perfect for traveling and can be packed in a purse, suitcase, or backpack. The patches come in a resealable bag to ensure they are always fresh, effective, and ready for use. - Mosquito Stickers for Kids - These unique insect patches are an excellent alternative. Enjoy protection from insects without having to reapply. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B06XJT54LX | | Best Sellers Rank | #12,177 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #442 in Pest Repellents | | Brand | RiptGear | | Brand Name | RiptGear | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 9,067 Reviews | | Item Form | Patch | | Item Volume | 78 | | Manufacturer | RiptGear | | Manufacturer Part Number | 6598358787 | | Material Feature | Natural | | Material Features | Natural | | Model Number | 6598358787 | | Number of Items | 78 | | Scent | Citronella | | Scent Name | Citronella | | Size | 78 Count (Pack of 1) | | UPC | 651536393489 | | Unit Count | 78 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** RiptGear - **Item Form:** Patch - **Item Volume:** 78 - **Material Feature:** Natural - **Scent:** Citronella ## Images ![RiptGear Natural Mosquito Patch Stickers for Kids - Insect Citronella Oil Stickers (78 Pack) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71OydZZgLfL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: do these work?** A: They work for sure but you need more then one. I put one on each ankle and wrist. Worked GREAT. With only one on its effectivness was mediocre. The sticky didn't bother my skin either tho I don't think they recommend that. For someone who's o positive its hard to find stuff that ACTUALLY works. **Q: For a 10 year old soccer player...1 on back of shirt & 1 on front of shorts??? or do I only need apply 1? Thanks (they play in the woods!)** A: You can start with putting one on the shirt close to the shoulder and one on the shorts opposite side. You can also put them back in the resealable package and use them at a later date. **Q: Can you use these while pregnant?** A: It is okay to put patches near and around but do not put patches directly on the skin. **Q: how long go unused stickers last if they remain in packaging? Ie. Do they expire?** A: The Mosquito Repellent Patch offers 72 Hours of Protection for Each Insect Repellent Patch. If they remain sealed in the package they ought to last multiple years, however, this is contingent upon where you store them as extreme temperatures could possibly dry them out.
