For some reason replacement filters were difficult to find ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth it! *by H***4 on February 9, 2025* Awesome product! Before I bought this, I asked my vet if it's worth it and as it turns out, vets recommend these type of devices as it tends to make cats drink more water. She couldn't really explain why, but I found with some research, it mostly has to do with their whiskers not being constricted by a "bowl". I bought, charged, added filters like instructed and I can honestly say, my cats drink more water now then I ever saw them drink before. I charge it every Sunday for the full day while cleaning/doing laundry & it will last till the next Sunday with no issues. The fact that it has different settings is also great. I keep on the setting that turns it on when they approach and turns off after a few minutes. It has a good range, so turns on a lot by us just walking around kitchen, but again, turns off within 2 minutes so not a big deal. One of my cats is all black and some people stated that these devices don't "see" them. This one has no issues there either. It's truly great! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Product - Only a couple of hiccups *by A***Y on February 28, 2023* Easy and intuitive to assemble, I like that it charges with a standard Type C USB charger. Much better than having another propriety charger lying around.My only issue is the long distance that the IR sensor activates from. My kitchen is 10ft deep and the unit will activate if I barely step into the room. This doesn't present a problem necessarily, except it affect battery longevity. I expected to only have a 1-2ft range and only activate as an animal the height of a cat approached it, versus a 6ft human from 10ft away.Otherwise, easy to replace the filter, easy to operate and hopefully it continues to operate well.
