They work, especially the new Helix style that Rode has implemented. But this SMALLRIG mic holder is both style and function. It’s a definite upgrade and hold all my different sized mic’s well, providing a good shock mount and much greater professional look when in use. Recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good product, works perfectly *by B***N on 5 March 2026* Like this a lot. It doesn't show but this is an actual shock mount with a rubber stage inbetween the mount and the camera cold shoe. So it's not a rigid mount that would transmit sound. It's actually a real shock mount that does jiggle but is sturdy enough to hold a decent sized mic. Works great on my custom rig.
