There is a youtube video that shows how this is done **Q: Will this fit over a solid wheel same size?** A: Our wheel chair has a solid metal rim that holds the tire. The tire is stretched over this rim with the tool included. As suggested we soaked the tire in hot water for a few minutes to give it more flex going on the rim. Worked perfectly on first install attempt ever. **Q: What is the best way to remove the old non pneumatic tire?** A: Important Reminder: Please measure the rim diameter (not including the tire) before removing the old tire.
