I will update my review when I have used it a bit. Seems solid, nice aesthetic. The pictures are fairly accurate however it doesn't have the brand name on the top of the drive like the picture shows. (which I prefer). One thing I wanted to mention is the description of the item talks about having two cables for the operation of the drive. After receiving it, and unboxing it, the only cable is the USB cable. There is no need for a separate power cable.After using this, it works exactly how it is intended. My only beef is that it cannot be detected as a bootable drive with my system. I have tried it on two, and cannot get the bios to recognize it as bootable. It hardly used any power and ran happlly on battery power from the pc while I installed MS Office.I haven't tried burning anything yet, but let's face it, we really only need the dvd drives to read or watch a disc.
