This book has a theme that weaves the different subjects together (reading, writing, math, science). This way it is more engaging than other summer bridge books we tried, and also covers a good amount of the knowledge. The map is very motivating and she pushes her attention span limit to get multiple pages done at once. She feels excited to work on the problems when prompted or would start doing so without asking.
