**Q: is it removable?**
A: Yes it can be removed. It is like a thick putty. It can be molded and and pushed into cracks.  It's a great sealer.

**Q: Will this work ok for furnace sheet metal ducts? They get to maybe 150F.**
A: I did not buy this for any HVAC repair. I bought it for a metal trap for a pellet gun to silence the noise from pellets hitting the metal.
