I have to roll my router stand across a rough brick surface to a rough asphalt surface when I use it. The previous casters were hard to roll and hard to lock. Now the stand rolls so easily that it rolls downhill on a very slight slope. The locks stop both rolling and rotating and are very easy to set and release.I had to modify the stand to account for the increase in height. The stand now has flat 2x4s on the bottom with holes to accommodate the casters. I had to countersink the holes to allow for the 1.5" bolts on the casters.
