Review: Does not work with Glide floss - Great idea, terrible execution. If it was metal, it would be worth it. This can't cost more than a dollar to make. I wrapped the floss twice on each side and it still slipped out. So I wrapped it three times and it broke when I closed it.

It feels a little flimsy but absolutely does the job. Think it’s just a little overpriced for what it is but it’s does the job well. Will likely be buying another for a spare just in case this one breaks. I do expect it to break because it is flimsy. If you can find something similar for a cheaper price then it’s a good buy. My floss is the name brand heavy duty stuff. Don’t know how well it will work with the cheaper off brand stuff.

**Q: No reviews, does anyone have any feedback on this? Does it hold the floss tightly? Does it last or break quickly?**
A: It holds the floss tight enough, it has a toothed grip (may depend on the type of the floss too). The design is great. In my opinion, it is the best floss holder by design. However, it does break quickly; first the clamp, then the grip.

**Q: Can I use any floss brand? Thanks!**
A: I ran some calculations.  If you pay an extra $5 to get 50 meters of their floss with the holder (assuming you're not picky about the floss you use, but they also have a ribbon type they sell with it), and assuming approximately 3 cm of use per day, you'll get 4.5 years worth of daily usage from it.  Waxed floss is of course designed to be more slippery, so that may not work as well with the clamping mechanism.

**Q: does it hold floss securely? It looks like it locks down onto the floss, if so is it usable with glide ribbon floss?**
A: It tries to hold floss taut and it succeeds to an extent, but not adequately to do your whole mouth. Ribbon floss will work, but I feel that it was designed for more traditional floss. Paro brand floss is not readily available in the US (at least not for a reasonable cost). I wonder if it works better with the floss it was designed for. Paro #1764 Riser floss is recommended on the package.

**Q: Does Paro make a floss to go with the holder that is not flavored? Artificial flavoring makes me ill.**

This product is actually a great concept but overall it kinda missed, here’s a few factors on my end: - I’ve got Invisalign attachments on my teeth. - I have some tight spaces between my teeth. - I prefer expanding floss. Pros: - great for hard to reach spots. - saves your fingers - best compatible with expanding floss (adds more tension in my opinion) Cons: - cheap plastic - not worth the price - regular floss slips out if you have tight spaces on your teeth - bulky if you have a small mouth Honestly if this had sturdier material or was made with something different entirely and be a little smaller it would have have been perfect
