A little loud in a quiet room, but unlike another clock I purchased on Amazon, it works. I had to change the battery, but the 1st one was probably old. In case you are wondering, its actual wood. Looks really beach-y. Nice. The packaging it came in was nice as well.

Ok.  So I have NEVER written a product review before in my life and have been online shopping since its inception!  I am writing this review because I want to encourage you to purchase this clock if you like quality, beauty and the simplicity of nature.  Now, in all honesty I just received this clock today so I can't talk about its long-term function, but I will tell you that everything from the design, feel, secure packaging to the note of instruction is just plain quality!  What a beautiful piece of art created by hand from a small, family business out of the beach town of Wilmington, NC.
