Beard oil with help promotes growth and soften the beard and skin. Bear oil goes a long way and you beard is very short in comparison to mine. I would say it’s never too early and this scent is lovely and you will get compliments on the scent or at least I always do when I am using it. If you plan to have a healthy beard I would suggest you also get a beard wash. Cremo also has a beard wash in the same scent. You don’t want to use regular shampoo on your beard believe it or not your beard hair is different from you hair on your head and it needs more nourishment then the hair on your head. Formula is quite thin and sinks in fairly well, not too greasy. It smells absolutely wonderful, a bit like Santal 33 meets classic barbershop. Honestly, I just kept repurchasing it for the scent alone.. but, alas, can’t forgive the dry beard hair.
