Review: Calidad a un excelente precio. Buen primer reloj. - Este es mi primer reloj automático, fuera de un Apple Watch y un Casio A168W que solía usar como daily driver. Me la pasé unas buenas horas viendo reseñas en YouTube intentando realizar la compra más inteligente y al final me decidí por este Seiko. Todos los comentarios, tanto míos como de personas con experiencia en el mundo de la relojería, son bastante positivos tomando en cuenta el precio de la pieza. El reloj tiene muy buen peso, un dial precioso, probablemente las fotografías no le hagan mucha justicia pero en persona es increíble la calidad de la caja en sí. Es un reloj pequeño, de 37mm, perfecto para muñecas de entre 145mm y 170mm . El movimiento es automático, bastante preciso, pero no se le puede dar cuerda de forma manual, únicamente a través del uso o agitando el reloj. El ajuste tiene 2 modos, el primer click hacia afuera es para ajustar la fecha, si le das cuerda en el sentido de las manecillas del reloj, ajustarás la fecha. Si le das cuerda en contra del sentido de las manecillas del reloj, ajustarás el día de la semana. En el segundo click hacia afuera se ajusta la hora, si le das cuerda al sentido de las manecillas avanza el minutero y horario. Si le das cuerda en el sentido opuesto, retrocede el segundero un poco pero continúa avanzando una vez que dejas de mover el engrane. La carga en stand-by (mientras no está en uso) dura 41 horas antes de detenerse y necesitar movimiento para ser cargada. La correa de este modelo (SNKL43) es la mejor que hay en la serie 5, mucho ojo con esto: Si escoges los modelos que inician SNX, nota que la correa, parte de la caja y el dial son diferentes, si bien la calidad es la misma, tiene ligeras diferencias estéticas que te podrían parecer más o menos atractivas según tu gusto. Esto es particularmente notorio en la correa, la correa de los SNX es la de menos calidad, no tiene ningún acabado y se asemeja, precisamente, a la de un Casio A168W. En lo personal, por eso escogí el SNKL, su correa tiene dos franjas paralelas de metal pulido (cromado) que le dan más personalidad. Para finalizar, el vidrio es Hardlex, poco más duro y resistente que los cristales minerales pero no tanto como el zafiro, por lo que será normal ver rayones nuevos de vez en cuando, nada que no se arregle con una pulida o incluso reemplazando el cristal. Estos modelos no son hechos en Japón sino en Singapur o Malasia. El ajuste de la correa es de tipo T, no tiene pines como relojes de gamas más altas. Lo puedes realizar en casa si cuentas con unas pinzas de punta y un juego de desarmadores milimétricos, te ahorras entre 50 y 100 pesos, dependiendo de la relojería.

**Q: Does "automatic" mean self-winding?**
A: Automatic absolutely does mean, “self winding”. There’s no battery and no capacitor, as someone else claimed. As long as you wear the watch at least 10 hours a day then you should never have to hand wind it. Moving your arm throughout the day causes a rotor inside the watch to turn, which winds the watch and will not allow the watch to be overwound by the rotor. Once the main spring is fully wound, it provides anywhere from 40 to 120 hours of reserve spring power (depending on the brand/model), allowing you to place the watch on your nightstand while you sleep or even put it in a drawer over the weekend, and the watch will keep running until you put it back on again. If the watch is stationary for too long and all the energy from the main spring has run out, then put about 5 full turns on the crown, reset the date and time, put the watch on and you’re good to go. The self winding rotor will finish winding the watch for you and keep it wound indefinitely as long as you wear the watch at least 10 hours a day.

**Q: How do I stop the second hand to set the exact second? I pull the crown out to the second position, but the 2nd hand doesn't stop.**
A: Absolutely do NOT put your watch on a magnet. You will magnetize your movement, and kill your accuracy. 

The 7S26 movement is non hacking, so you cannot stop the seconds hand for precise time setting. Look for something with a 4R35 or 4R36 movement if you want to set precise time.

**Q: whats the strap width? the page description says 17mm but i cant find one in that size :/**
A: Lug-to-lug width for SNKL43: 18-mm. Measured it two days ago to order a NATO-style watch strap.

**Q: Wore my new watch for twelve hours, took it off for twelve hours and it stopped. Is this normal??**
A: To me that is not normal. Sincethis movementis supposed to have an power reserve of 41 hours when fully wound spring. Eighter you are not moving your arm much or the watch is defective. I used mine black model now for about 2 weeks and it never stopped. I wore it now not for about 19 hours and it still runs.  Keep in mind that the rotor on the back only turns at an steep 90 degree angle. The self winding weight will not turn on an shallow angle - so it winds only confidently with some wrist up and down movement. Otherwise this is the best watch ever for me. I ordered 2 when the

・タキメータもどき等の虚飾もなく"実にこれぞ腕時計"と云うシンプルなデザインは好感。 ・青色の文字板でも派手すぎることなくシックに感じる色感。個人的意見だがフォーマルの場でも問題は無いと思う。 ・針と文字板には夜間使用を考慮した蛍光塗付処理の丁寧な作り。 ・梱包の箱もしっかりしており極度な安値感は無い。 ・初期不良のレビューが散見されたが購入品は問題無し。購入直後の3日間の平均日差は+6秒。半年後の現在も元気に動いている。 ・秒金を止めるハック機能が無いとの説明で、購入前は異和感を覚えたが、実際使って見ると問題は感じない。(電波時時のような絶対秒時間を知るためのものでないので） ・説明では曜日の第2言語はスペルン語とあったがどうもアラビア語みたい。と言っても第1言語は英語なので使用上問題は極少(まあ、逆輸入品なので、それなりの理由はあるのでしょうね。アラビア語だと返って面白いかも。？） ・セイコー5スポーツとあるが単なるセイコー5では？ ・逆輸入品とは言え(たぶん生産も海外かな。)、機械式自動巻腕時計をこの品質、この価格で購入できるのだから、セイコーの高度な設計技術、生産技術の英智を身に纏う事に誇りを感じる。
