Review: Exactly what I needed to stop a dripping improperly installed faucet valve - Previous home owner left issues with this bathtub shower installation. Turning the water on to fill the tub caused a good amount of water to leak out of the shower head. This is caused by a couple of potential problems - both of which would have meant substantial rework to cut into the wall and fix. One problem is that the valve was installed upside down so it was trying to send water to the shower head first before gravity pushed it down and out the tub faucet. The other problem could be that they installed PEX flexible piping from the valve to the shower head instead of rigid copper per specs. Either cause is a pain to fix. Found out that these "volume" controls are a workaround to this type of situation. It took me literally 1 minute to install this. After testing, it stopped the shower head from leaking water! I used too much teflon tape which I need to remove for a better looking install. My faucet I think is Moen but this brand matches the finish perfectly. I couldn't even find where Moen sells a "volume" control in the finish I needed. So I was very happy to find this brand. It is solid, well made, and the valve operates smoothly. This was like a $10 fix that took 1 minute instead of tearing into a wall and spending a few hours replumbing a shower tub install.
