Review: Very easy install! - Easy install under 1 hour. OEM replacement, hope this one lasts since they average 2 to 3 years of life from what I've read.
Review: Serious design flaw! - Light system. New it works great but of 4 lights installed in my pool 3 failed. Now a replacement light just failed. Took it apart. These lights have o-rings that leak over time and then the circuit board inside is ruined. Its easy but expensive to replace. Once this system installed it us a big deal to switch to another brand. Pentair... you need to fix this! For a new installation I suggest owners pick another system.

**Q: The one i have is 602053 , can I use this 602054 and does it come with the lock key**
A: Sort of, the 602053 is just a different length of wire. Mine came with tool and silicon. I have actually purchase all three lengths and they all came with everything needed to install in an existing socket.

**Q: Is it LED?**
A: Yes it is LED. It has multiple colors and color modes as well.

**Q: What is the recommended depth to install these lights?**
A: Not sure what’s recommended but mine are two-three & four feet deep. My first set lasted about 2 years I’m on the 2 nd set. They don’t seem to burn out but develop leaks that short the power out. Sooo probably the shallower the better.

**Q: Is it the same model of the light as the 602055 but with the shorter, 50ft cable?**
A: Yea, it comes with a 30ft cable.

Wow...was surprised how easy to install this (and I'm not super handy). Several YouTube videos walk you through it easily. And this was WAY cheaper than my local pool store for parts...and since it's an easy self-install, I saved another $150 doing it myself. Blows my mind what local stores will charge for parts and labor. I save about $225 via DIY ($75 saved on part, $150 saved on labor).
