Since 1939, when Duralex invented the glass tempering process, the name Duralex has been associated with resilient glassware, thanks to their proprietary tempering process. The original tempered (toughened) Picardie glasses are still in production in France and are known as the "Original French Tumblers." The Picardie glass is the perfect weight: functional yet stylish and feels extremely comfortable in the hand. They are equally suitable for cold or hot drinks, conveniently stackable, impact and chip resistant, microwave and dishwasher safe. With the help of continuous investments and commitment to quality, Duralex has reached a level of excellence that makes its products recognized throughout the world. Duralex is and will always remain a true French manufacturer of glassware and tabletop products, and is the only glass manufacturer that makes 100% of their products in France. ## Features - Set includes six 4 3/8 ounce glasses; Diameter: 2.75 inch / 6.9 cm, Height: 2.875 inch / 7.2 cm, Volume: 13 cl / 4.375 ounces ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B002GULQ7S | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #35,036 in Kitchen & Dining ( See Top 100 in Kitchen & Dining ) #754 in Tumblers & Water Glasses | | Brand Name | Duralex | | Capacity | 0.65 cups | | Color | Clear | | Customer Package Type | Standard Packaging | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (1,766) | | Finish Types | Glossy | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00080576001915, 03550190500981, 13550190500988 | | Included Components | 6 glasses | | Item Dimensions W x H | 2.87"W x 2.75"H | | Item Type Name | Glass Drinking Glasses | | Item Weight | 1.3 pounds | | Manufacturer | Duralex | | Manufacturer Part Number | 1024AB06A0111 | | Material Features | Recyclable | | Material Type | Glass, Tempered Glass | | Model Number | 1024AB06A0111 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Occasion | Dining | | Other Special Features of the Product | Break Resistant, Dishwasher Safe, Microwave Safe | | Pattern | Solid | | Product Care Instructions | Dishwasher Safe | | Product Style | 4.5 oz | | Recommended Uses For Product | Home | | Reusability | Reusable | | Set Name | Picardie Tumbler Set | | Shape | Round | | Size | 1 Count (Pack of 1) | | Specific Uses For Product | Cold Drinks, Hot Drinks | | Theme | Hearts | | UPC | 080576001915 | | Unit Count | 6 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Duralex - **Capacity:** 0.65 cups - **Color:** Clear - **Material:** Glass, Tempered Glass - **Special Feature:** Break Resistant, Dishwasher Safe, Microwave Safe ## Images ![Picardie Tumbler, Clear, 4 3/8 ounce, Set of 6 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61PVStEST2L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: what size is better for a 2 and 4 year old - the 4.25oz or the 5.75oz?** A: We have the 5.75 oz glass set. My 9-year old rarely drains one glass, while I will refill once with dinner.I recommend the 4.25 for that reason and also because the smaller one would be better for small hands. **Q: what size would be perfect for a casual glass of wine (like they use informally in italy)?** A: Well, the 4.5 ounce tumblers are a little small for the ascetic you are looking for; this size really can only comfortably hold a double-jigger's worth of liquid. The size of glass you are likely looking for--similar to what would be used in Italy for "casual" wine drinking--would be either the 5 3/4 (5-oz. being a "standard" serving of wine) or 7 3/4 tumbler glasses. Seeing as I own the 8-oz. glasses (and therefore know how small they appear to American eyes), I'd gander you would be happier with the 7 3/4 ounce glasses for that particular application. **Q: Are these glasses stackable?** A: Yes, these are stackable and do not get "stuck" when stacked. **Q: Are bottoms completely flat? Wondering if they collect water in dishwasher?** A: They are flat and do not collect water in the dishwasher. ## Frequently Bought Together - Duralex - Picardie Tumbler, Clear, 4 3/8 ounce, Set of 6 - Duralex Tempered Glass, Made In France Picardie Clear Tumbler, Set of 6, 12.62 oz. - Duralex picardie, clear 25 cl tumbler, 8-3/8 ounce, set of 6 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/4143486-picardie-tumbler-clear-4-3-8-ounce-set-of-6](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/4143486-picardie-tumbler-clear-4-3-8-ounce-set-of-6) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
