Some very good information here, just not enough! My biggest complaint is the information in this book is out of date. Sure some things stay the same, but there are new parts available to take care of some of the shortcomings these installations have. I bought this for help in installing my engine kit in my bicycle. Some tips in this book were helpful but not enough help

I thought i knew all , but this book did teach me a couple of things. Gives you i am going into a bike building business and  some pointers about the law sticking in there 2 percent in bike building.

This book is in the "good ole boy" writing style, which is great if you want to subscribe to the circle jerk lifestyle that is motorized bicycle. Stay away from this book like you would stay away from the man who wrote it. Save your money and invest in a machine of precision and quality.The book does have a few good graphics and notes showing historic pre-1910 bikes
