It was very important that our replacement bulbs provide as much light as the ones they were replacing. The GE bulbs = 475 lumens @ 2750k. The Modvera bulbs = 610 lumens @ 2700k according to the answer to questions above. I even sent a message to verify because most 60-watt bulbs are closer to 800 lumens and was told that that figure was for A19 bulbs and that other G25 bulbs are closer to 580 lumens (a fact confirmed by my engineering husband. He said the shape of the bulb affects the direction of the light and the way it is measured). So we ordered them.Big mistake. They are not nearly as bright as our old bulbs, and our eyes are struggling to see while we are cooking. Needless to say, the stated lumens on either the GE package or on this website are incorrect. My husband is going to borrow a friend's lux meter to help us better understand the problem. In any case, I thought I'd warn others before they purchased these bulbs. ### ⭐ Can’t recommend: Flickering and Go Out Within Months *by M***T on Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2017* We purchased a total of six of these bulbs (three on April 16, 2017 and three four days later on April 20, 2017). These replaced GE Reveal globe bulbs in our master bathroom. I liked the color and amount of light these bulbs provide; my wife didn’t like the color but didn’t find them so objectionable that she wanted them replaced. Unfortunately, the filements in the bulbs started going out or flickering at about 4 months. At this point three of the six bulbs are flickering so badly that they are unusable and now we are forced to shop for replacements. ### ⭐ Don't waste your money. *by A***J on Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2019* Bought a 3-pack in Sept-2017, installed 2 over bathroom sink along with one comparable led from Lowes. These started flickering after a few months and completely quit around the 1 year mark. I replaced with the one remaining bulb and it's dead around 5 months later. The bulb from Lowes is still going strong (it has a different led pattern inside the bulb so it was easy to differentiate). After reading current reviews, it appears I was lucky to have mine last this long.
