Im also 5'6 and 220 bought the 3x **Q: I'm 5'9" and usually wear a 22 on top and 26 on bottom. What size would you recommend?** A: 3XL **Q: I am 5' 8" and 180lbs would a size L me right for me?** A: I found this to run small if you are wearing as a cover up/dress. I’m 5’ 6” 118lbs and always an Xs in other things and ended up ordering a medium. If you are wearing just as a shirt, then I think the L would probably fit ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good quality. *by S***M on 22 June 2022* Absolutely love this shirt! I bought two more. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality shirt, beautiful rich colors *by L***B on 1 May 2021* Sweet shirt for many uses. Quality construction, nice pattern, well designed. Perfect for the beach or sleepware. I may just use it to go to town. It's very cute. I got the green with the bold pattern. Love the rich colors. Pleased with my purchase. Thank you. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Honestly, better than I expected *by A***R on 13 February 2023* It's always difficult finding pieces that fit well. I'm a size 14 and the XL fits VERY nicely. I'm 5'5" and it's really the perfect length. The fabric is very creased from the folding right out of the package, but a quick steam (or just hanging it in the bathroom during a hot shower) will fix that. Huge fan; may purchase the same in another color! I will say, it's not quite as loose as I was expecting, but the fit is still very nice. Not like a regular beach cover-up that completely SWALLOWS you, but still loose enough for me! (for context, I can sit down in a chair and it doesn't suddenly get super tight around the hips.
