## Description

Drawing with colored leads is a recent art trend that has only been available for the last 120 years. Over the last 25 years, there have been significant improvements in colored pencils. Cezanne colored pencils feature the best improvements and allow you to experience the joy of drawing in color. Your artwork will stay vibrant over time with colored pencils that have good to very good lightfastness. Cezanne contain non-toxic pigments, no dyes, or other toxic substances. State of the art binders allows the pencil color to release easily on any paper, board, or canvas. Cezanne only use top quality hardwood that is easy to sharpen. The lead is soft with a large 3.3m diameter lead. This beautiful 120 color set comes in an attractive metal tin with double hinged lid. Based on diligent research and development creating the greatest ability for artists to achieve superior results and outperform even the most expensive European pencils made today. The color system allows for middle tone, dark and highlight tone availability to aid in the creation of the most lifelike works of art.

Review: Great pencil - This pencil has a very good color payoff. It works even on smooth paper that other pencils glide over.
Review: Not well packed for posting. - There was no extra padding for rough international posting! The case is pretty banged up and there are several pencils that have problems when sharpening, I suspect from the travel issue. Overall good for a budget pencil. Pigment level is good. Nice range of colours. Will take a few good layers, and blending is satisfactory for this level of pencil. I would recommend as a good starter set for the budget conscious.

## Features

- The finest European quality set with the most advanced color spectrum on the market. Cezanne's 120 Colored Pencil Set has MORE variations of color tones than the other leading brands. Cezanne's color range has been created with a great amount of input by artists who use colored pencils every day. You can use this selection for portraiture, landscapes, seascapes, and other varied brilliant designs.
- These elite professional colored pencils render vibrant results when layering, shading, and mixing on any paper, board, and even canvas! The lead is characterized as being soft, large 3.3mm diameter that can hold a crisp, sharp point for pinpoint control if required all while allowing the color to release easily due to state of the art binders.
- One of the most overlooked qualities of pencils are the wood used to encase the lead; however, this is as important as the lead itself. Cezanne uses top quality hardwood that is easy to sharpen and will hold the lead firmly in place. In addition to this, the lead is bonded to the casement so it is unbelievably break resistant.
- Each colored pencil end is dipped twice: Once to provide a good seal and then a second time to provide a very close portrayal of the colored lead for ease of color recognition. You can find the color chart in the secondary images on this listing and the corresponding numbers are printed on the barrels.
- An amazing gift for adults, kids, artists, beginners, professionals, and anyone in between! It comes in an attractive metal tin with three trays of colors. We back this product up with a 100% Guarantee so if there is anything wrong with your order please contact the seller directly so they can address your issue!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great pencil

### ⭐⭐ Not well packed for posting.
*by A***A on 28 June 2022*

There was no extra padding for rough international posting! The case is pretty banged up and there are several pencils that have problems when sharpening, I suspect from the travel issue. Overall good for a budget pencil. Pigment level is good. Nice range of colours. Will take a few good layers, and blending is satisfactory for this level of pencil. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Training Wheels
*by W***R on 14 July 2022*

These pencils aren't ever going to be as good as Prismacolors, top of the line Faber Castels, Caran d'Ache or Derwent. All those brands are expensive and have varying core strength, highest light fastness ratings, and blendability depending on preference. You get what you pay for in a lot of the art world and pencils aren't the exception. Can you make good art without them? Yes! I've seen artists use Crayola pencils for pro grade art. However, better tools make for less frustration and faster results most of the time Cezanne have been a fantastic middle ground. Pros: Good coverage. Far better than Crayola but not quite up with Prismacolor Good core strength. Unlike Prismacolors, you don't have to warm the cores before the first use to help prevent breaking. (Do a quick search for this trick, there's a number of ways). Can be sharpened with any cheap Big Box or office supply hand held sharpener. Prismacolors tend to do best with a specialized sharpener. Price. I paid $30 for 120 pencils. The same type of set would cost over $100 for any top brand Cons: Nothing in this price range will have the light fastness of the expensive brands. For work you want to last for years, these won't be your go-to. Will not cover or blend on the same level as top brands. They're good, but where Prismacolor white will cover almost anything, this white just does a good job - not an exceptional job. Final Thoughts: Great for learning/practice or art you plan to scan and keep digitally. If you end up grinding down 25% of a pencil on a project you don't want to finish, it's not as big a deal as it would be if you were using a set priced at $100-$200+ I'll buy these again for practice, coloring books, cards, other temporary art, and art ported over into a digital paint program.
