Sold those bad boys and now use a sweet little propane/oxygen outfit when I need such a thing. They melt and flow below the temperature of the tubing. No issues with adhesion. Along the way, I tried some Bernzomatic flux coated rods. They not only sucked, they ***** up the last situation to add hours of work for me. The melting point was high, right up there with the tubing. What a mistake. Grrrrr..... Went back to these rods.
