The backrest hook is plastic and last me one month! By the other hand it provide lot of adjustment and even that is a small backrest it provides good support! Just replace the plastic clips to bronze and problem solve! If yo are heavy weight (maybe more than 210ponds don’t buy, look for a biger one!
