The Prep alone is sufficient when applied to pre washed face. After shaving I rinse lightly and dry. Prep has a light eucalyptus fragrance, and its feel is comparable to old days Noxzema cream that many of us used for facial acne as teenagers. I don’t know how the current Noxzema compares. Prep leaves the face refreshed and cool feeling.
