Review: Smartshake Stainless Steel - This is my go to before, during, and after the gym for my protein shakes. It's never leaked once in the past 7 months I've had it, and I use the hell out of it (2-4 times daily). If you over tighten it yes, it's going to leak. Snug and a quarter turn at most, you don't have to tighten it like your the hulk. Don't be lazy and put it in the dishwasher, even the top rack, it will rust if you do, that's why on the bottom of bottle and the note inside/attached to it says "Handwash only" not dishwash.

I was skeptical purchasing this product due to the mixed reviews about the sealing of the bottle and the removal of the metal whisk ball however after about a week of use I have had no issues with the sealing and the shaker tech actually mixes pretty well. Cleaning the whisk technology is a little difficult if there's protein in the sharper edges but pressured water helps. this is a non insulated bottle so it does not hold internal temperature. the materials in the bottle feel premium and the soft touch material is nice to hold.
