Awesome faceplate! Tnak you very much! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ wood lathe faceplate 2" *by R***Z on Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2019* Very solid faceplate, good value. The only problem is that there are no flats for a wrench to remove it after use, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. Currently I am using a 9" Robo-grip pliers with rubber covered jaws to hold the faceplate collar while I use a tommy bar on the spindle to break them apart for unscrewing. I am thinking about drilling a 1/4" hole in the collar or flange for another tommy bar instead of the pliers . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy face plate but no flats to allow removal *by G***T on Reviewed in the United States on April 18, 2017* Well made faceplate with 3/8" thick flange and 4 mounting holes; lesser quality faceplates will be 1/4" thick with 3 holes. One negative is that there are no flats to get a wrench on to remove the faceplate if is tight on the spindle, which it almost always is. I drilled and tapped a hole in the edge of the flange to fit a short #10 socket head cap screw, which allows me to use a spanner wrench to break it loose. Additionally, it gives you no ability to lock the faceplate to the spindle, as you would have to do when running in reverse.
