Unfortunately, 64 F is the strip's lowest temperature, any temperature below that will not be displayed. **Q: Any reason these couldnt/shouldnt be mounted horizontally?** A: No reason. It will work anyway you mount it! **Q: How does this install? I think they are pretty accurate too.They stick well but I believe I should be able t remove them and restick them onto a new vessel. I may also just leave them on my vessel as is. I bought the multipack just in case and I think the price was worth it.I recommend these if you brew beer, wine, cider, kombucha and need to be aware of the temp easily.
