The seller said the condition was "Good" and if you just gave a quick once-over to the book, it would seem like it was in "Good" condition. So I'm not criticizing the seller that much. But these books are workbooks where you're supposed to study many sample games and decide what the best next move should be. They're not books to just read. And in my used copy the previous owner had written their answers in pen on 25 of the pages. And some other pages had the solutions written in pencil. So I erased the pencil ones and then marked over the pen answers, thinking I was OK with that. But now I'm thinking I will just donate the used Book 2 and reorder it as a new copy. These books are not meant for just reading - they're workbooks meant to be written in and if you buy it used, you have no way of knowing if the previous owner wrote their answers in pen or pencil. So my advice is to buy these new rather than used unless you're willing to take that chance. I do like the books so far.
