Review: So far, so good! - UPDATE 4/18/2024: i am disappointed because when I went on desertcart to purchase another remote sensor, the catalog page said desertcart didn't know if, or when, the sensor would be available again. I have contacted Wittime to see what I can do about this. i hope they can help. My old Oregon Scientific weather station has failed, and I lost the external sensor (which I believe had a broken radio transmitter anyway,) so I looked and looked some more, and decided on the Wittime 2180. I did so because I liked the barometric display, and it looked like the 2180 would be easy to read (which it is.) This weather station/sensor combo is doing a great job so far. There are a couple things I had to deal with though, when I set it up; both required removing and re-installing the batteries. I live 528 feet above sea level, and it seemed the barometer was reading as if I were at sea level. Digging around in the manual, I found I could press and hold "snooze/light" to adjust the pressure units, and set the exact pressure. It wouldn't let me do anything with that, until I removed and re-installed the batteries. Once I did that, however, I was able to set the pressure to my local forecaster, and since then, it's been extremely accurate (1/100 of an inch off, sometimes.) I installed batteries in the remote sensor, and the base wouldn't read it until I removed and re-installed batteries in the base. Other than that, I'm very happy with this Wittime 2180 weather station. I especially like the barometric pressure history. Also, I live in a condo with brick walls and metal studs, but last night, the 2180 picked up WWV even though the 2180 was 25 feet or so away from a window. I am very happy with that. Hightly recommended!
Review: Love this Wittime indoor/outdoor thermometer! - I had to return my first attempt at replacing my thermometer, so was very apprehensive about receiving and setting up a new one after all prior stress. First of all the box that the product came in was impressive looking and then the directions were very clear and extremely legible, so I did the first step, which was installing batteries in the weather station and the outdoor sensor. I had read reviews that told of needing to manually set the clock the first time even with an atomic clock Station. I had to step away for a few minutes before beginning that time input, and when I returned about two minutes later, the clock was set and perfect all by itself. I was very impressed. I then put the outdoor sensor near my eaves in the front and began watching the temperatures, both inside and outside adjust to what I believe is perfection. There was no work involved at all in setting up my weather station, and I am very happy with it. It’s a little larger than all the others I read about, and that is another huge plus. It’s on a shelf and I can see it while I’m sitting at the kitchen table to keep track of the time and check how I should dress for the day. This is definitely a five star product.

A: -13F for sure... I can't remember the exact specs...

**Q: does this unit contain a barometer?**
A: Yes.  The Wittime webpage, in About This Item, reads, "Multi-function Weather Station with Atomic Clock: Weather Forecast, Indoor Temperature and Humidity, Outdoor Temperature and Humidity, Air Pressure  . . . "  Air pressure is measured by a barometer.

**Q: Does this have a self-setting "atomic" clock?**
A: The new updated version in 2023 has atomic clock.

**Q: Can this unit be plugged into an outlet?**
A: No. It's battery operated.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice plain weather station. I do recommend but wish it was easier to see.

Set up should be a little easier. I got help from my techy 14 yr old grandson and we still had problems getting it to pair, setting the clock and getting the correct outdoor temp. My advice is to just put batteries in both items and set the transmitter outside for at least 24 hours. Over 24 hours later I looked, and all the information was showing up on the screen. The only thing I had to change was the time to Mountain (it had put Pacific) It's only been a couple of days, but the indoor/outdoor temps have been pretty accurate. I was getting ready to return it as defective, but it's been working just fine. So have patience and wait for at least 24 hours before you decide to send it back. The only thing I do not like is that it is hard to see without the back light and when you push the button it doesn't stay on for very long.
