I ran out of clear and purchased this to keep printing flowers but it is acting completely different.* Spool is not as pictured. My original spools looked like the picture.* It doesn't look as clear on the spool* It won't extrude at the same temps as the other four spools (must add at least 20 degrees)* It puts out about six times the particulate into the air vs my known good spools* It is jamming more frequently. The original stuff would make some ugly prints until I had it dialed in but it would finish printing. This stuff keeps jamming on me. Waiting for the air to clear up after every failure is also a pain.I have air quality sensors that monitor pm2.5 and pm10 in my printer cabinets and around my house. For the past six weeks (which includes several pounds of known good t-glase being printed) my I haven't breached 20 pm2.5 or pm10 originating from my printer cabinets. In the same graph I'm getting above 128 pm2.5 and 167 pm10 coming from the printer I'm reading this from. That's a rolling 15 minute average of readings every three minutes. The instantaneous readings breached 400. The high readings in of itself isn't an issue since I built this setup to print some nasty materials. The issue I have is this doesn't seem to be the same plastic. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would love to use this filament *by L***S on Reviewed in the United States on September 22, 2016* Update:I emailed Taulman about the issue and within a few hours he was shipping me a replacement spool. The replacement spool is of great quality and works great. I tested the filament over a few meters with a micrometers and found diameters varying from 1.750 mm to 1.725 mm, well within an acceptable range for great quality prints. I'm very glad to see Taulman has such great customer service and am changing my rating in light of this. My original review is below.Original 2 Star Review:I did some test prints with this filament and if you set up the layer heights right you can get some really neat clear prints. Unfortunately the thickness of this filament varies wildly, using a set of digital mics I was able to get measurements anywhere from 1.715 mm to 1.825 mm all within an meter or two. This has caused lots of issues in getting the extrusion rate calibrated properly so as not to produce holes and also has caused excessive issues with jamming to the point where I can't finish a print that takes over 30 min because it will likely jam. I would love to use this filament, unfortunately the diameter of mine varies far too much. ### ⭐⭐ Looked promising but didn't work for me *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 18, 2019* It's a beautiful looking clear filament when on the spool. So I tried the printer settings recommended by Taulman, tried settings used by other people who've been successful with this filament, used a 1mm nozzle, over-extruded, thick layer heights, etc. The first layer always looked great but everything after that was a mess. I never got the thick clear strands other people got. Turned the heat up and it bubbled like crazy, turned it down and the layers didn't adhere to each other. Tried different nozzle sizes, layer heights, hotend temperatures, no luck. Best I got was a stringy looking print with 0.2mm layers, but at that layer height it's not transparent. And $30+ for half a roll?
