The Orbit 57184 Double Union Coupler is a heavy-duty, preassembled swivel coupling designed for quick, leak-free connection of single or multi-zone valve manifolds. Compatible with 3/4-inch and 1-inch valves from major brands, it simplifies valve additions and replacements with its watertight swivel unions and mounts professionally on valve box bases for durable outdoor irrigation setups.

## Description

Traditional valve manifolds are constructed with glued PVC or threaded Schedule 80 risers and are very difficult to service. The pre-assembled manifold has special swivel unions which create a secure, watertight seal against each manifold component and the valves. If you ever need to add a valve or replace a valve, the procedure is as simple as unthreading the swivel, sliding it back, and adding or replacing the valve. The process of adding a drip filter and pressure regulator is equally simple. The heavy-duty preassembled valve fittings are compatible with all 3/4-inch and 1-inch valves from Orbit, Hydro-Rain, and other major brands. For a professional-quality manifold installation, mount the preassembled manifold on the valve box base with a standard valve box covering it. For outdoor irrigation use with cold water only.

No leaks and works as expected. My only gripe about this is I feel this part should have came with the Orbit Heavy Duty Preassembled Manifold. With that being said, you have no choice if you are trying to combine multiple manifolds, just suck it up and buy it. Due to odd pricing of the preassembled manifolds it was cheaper for me to buy 1 x 3 valve unit and combine 2 x 2 valve units for a total of 7. I used 2 of these couplers and it worked out great with no leaks.

Product is as advertised and does exactly what it is said to do. If you are trying to connect multiple Orbit manifolds together YOU NEED this part. No leaks and works as expected. My only gripe about this is I feel this part should have came with the Orbit Heavy Duty Preassembled Manifold. With that being said, you have no choice if you are trying to combine multiple manifolds, just suck it up and buy it. Due to odd pricing of the preassembled manifolds it was cheaper for me to buy 1 x 3 valve unit and combine 2 x 2 valve units for a total of 7. I used 2 of these couplers and it worked out great with no leaks.
