I guess they expect everyone to just drill and use an expansion bolt. But why? This is exactly what the j-bolt anchors (or as my Dad calls them, L-bolts--LOL) are for, so you can avoid all that drilling work.So lo and behold, these babies are available on Amazon. Is it twice what I need? Yep. Is it still less expensive than driving around to more hardware stores, only to be disappointed that they don't carry anything that small? Yep. Are they every bit as good as at the big box stores? Yep. Did they come with washers and nuts? Yep. Were a few threads clogged by sloppy galvanization? Only one. Did this solve my problem? Certainly.They deserve five stars because they were what I needed and arrived when I needed them.
