It worked better than the replacement oem evinrude/johnson solenoid I ordered from a popular marine website. I installed the oem solenoid and it immediately activated the starter. The key was off. So I ordered this solenoid off of Amazon and I’m skeptical, but it seems as well built as the other replacement solenoid that failed and had a name brand to it.
