## Questions & Answers

**Q: Has anyone ever tried cooking an egg or any little pieces of food on this?**
A: No, it's so tiny that all you can really use it for is wax.  I even doubt an egg would fit in the little pan.

**Q: Does the skiplet contain lead?**
A: No it does not.

**Q: Does this have to be treated for rust prevention?**
A: I've had mine for at least a year and never treated it for rust prevention, but then I never wash it with soap and water.  I wipe it out with paper towels to clean it of old wax melts, and I do that when the melt is soft, but not hot, and there's only a little left in the pan.

**Q: Would it work to warm essential oils?**
A: I did not use mine for that purpose, but believe it would so so adequately. I warmed wax (it then melted) by placing a tea candle underneath the skillet. Some of the wax was fragrent and I let off a nice smell. I think this product is excellent and well made. I hope this helps!

I do wish this would have been electric, but I bought a huge bag of tea lights. I use about 2 a day. I was able to fit 4 squares of wax into mine, with room to spare, so despite it's size, it can actually hold quite a bit. I have Scentsy wax in it, so it's half of a container. I light it in the morning, then again in the early evening, and it works very well. I keep mine on the stove (electric flat top, but it would set fine on a stove with regular burners), because it's a candle and not electric, so that works out well.The only issue I had is that I didn't like how the tea lights go directly onto the little plate at the bottom, so I wedged a little tea light holder in it. Personal preference, and I was able to get it how I wanted it, so that is a plus.I love this so much that I took a picture of it and sent it to my sister and told my sisters and mom about it so they could possibly get one, as well. It would make a great gift.
