Durability: This belt is very durable. This particular belt had fraying of the outer fabric, nothing structural but I had to trim it a few times. This might not be the case for other belts or for the leather variety. I wear lots of holsters, flashlight holsters, knives, and tools. This has caused great wear on the belt. The belt buckle has held up well though I needed to place the release lever facing down so that I could rest heavy items on the belt. I've rested over 100lb on the belt buckle with no failure of the buckle or the lever mechanism. Comfort: This particular belt is not very comfortable. I had gone through TSA a few times in prior years without issue while wearing it. One time I went through TSA screening and got search more after the scanner.
