I bought this matcha for my daily smoothies, but I occasional drink it traditionally whisked in steaming hot spring water. It dissolves instantly creating a beautiful, frothy, jade green infusion. The flavor is smooth and soothing, no bitter after taste. Encha tea is vacuumed packaged and shipped in a sturdy box, so I am confident of its freshness. Best of all; it is certified organic! Highly recommend this matcha tea. ### ⭐⭐ Leaning left *by T***M on October 8, 2017* Hard pressed to rate higher, however, I only have one other product I can compare with which is Made-en Matcha handled by local merchants. Encha does not froth. When whisked it produces large to medium and small bubbles which rapidly dissapate. The Made-en Matcha when whisked creates a healthy froth of very fine bubbles which hold. Flavor wise Encha does not compare to Made-en Matcha which is robust, earthy and has a distinct chlorophyl flavor rather than bitter as is with Encha.
