This versatile powerful ring neodymium magnets is perfect for integrating into your projects or ideas. Under ideal conditions, it has a pull force of 38.5 lbs, and a gauss rating of 13,500 gauss. The magnetic strength will last forever under normal use. The dimensions of this magnet are 1-1/2" in diameter and 3/8" in thickness with a 1.065" hole going through the center of the magnet. All magnets are fragile and may chip or shatter, but if used properly under normal circumstances, they can serve you for a lifetime. 2. A: Good God, NO! One, it's too big and two, it's strong enough to at least cut you, if not break your finger.

**Q: How do you know which direction north is?**
A: hang it with a string. the side facing north direction is north pole. and side facing south direction is south pole.

**Q: what is the inside diameter?**
A: One and one sixteenth inches

**Q: Will this magnet detect magnetic rocks?**
A: magnets attract materials that are iron based, if there is a rock with a magnetic flux they will attract each other.  If you drag a magnet on soil you will find that it will attract the iron based materials (mostly in a powder form).  I'm not really sure what you are asking, I hope this information is helpful.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect size utility ring magnet

This magnet is perfect. It's about strongest you would ever want to put on a keyring or maybe a bit too strong for it. It's not destructively strong to an extent that you would need to treat it with extreme care, but at the same time it is strong enough to hold rather heavy objects. It could hold a 3 lbs wrench by touching its flat end with magnet's rounded side, and the wrench does not fall off when I shake it by the magnet. If you want something to use for fishing magnetic junk out of a lake, but not squish your fingers between magnet and random steel wall on the way there, this is a good size to get.
