This is supposed to be one of the best coffees in the world, but when we opened the package there was barely any scent. The beans appeared cracked, dull, and dessicated. When brewed, there were hardly any oils or richness of the brew, and the coffee tasted like freeze packed pre-ground bargain bin coffee. It was supposed to be a treat for my coffee-loving husband, but unfortunately the quality fell completely flat. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A truly excellent cup of coffee, but probably not worth the price. *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2015* I don't review many products I buy on Amazon, but because this purchase was very extravagant by my standards and I bought it almost purely on speculation, I thought I should write a review so others might have a little more information than I did.Admittedly, this is a very good cup of coffee. Just moments ago I brewed and enjoyed my first cup. It is 24 August, and the beans were roasted (medium roast) on 31 July. I used filtered water, 2 tbsp. of coffee per 6 oz. of water, and brewed the coffee in a French press. The coffee has a wonderful smell, and excellent flavor with just the right amount of acidity. Of course, I drank it black, but I always drink coffee black. If you are a coffee lover, I can recommend trying this coffee at least once in your life.I also had the pleasure of talking to a representative - Mark - at Wallenford. I wanted to make sure I was getting coffee that was roasted recently and not sitting on Amazon's shelves somewhere for months. Mark was great, and responded very quickly to my inquiries. A total professional.Now, the other thing I must address is the cost. I have had coffee that is comparable in taste for considerably less money. While I look forward to enjoying the rest of the bag, it probably will be the last time I order this product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Possibly the only "real" JMB *by K***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2018* You'll notice other brands can always be purchased. This is the real deal in Peaberry. Bottom it's the best I've ever had! Established in 1760. Their coffee is from the original land. I can't get the regular or Peaberry often because obviously there is so little. I think other companies mix other beans in their brands.
