My car was giving me some electrical problems, started with the AC/heating system, then the radio, then finally leaving me stranded. I thought it was going to be the battery or a very costly electrical fix. Triple A comes out, tells me my battery is good, alternator is bad. Man I looked everywhere locally, Auto Zone, Oreilly’s, they wanted $250-$400 for a new alternator. Even used ones were going for ridiculous prices. I know it’s like just about anything else, you pay for the quality, but I will say at this point, so far so good. I’m glad I was able to save some money. It was an easy swap out, took me less than an hour. Car starts right up, radio and AC issues have all stopped.
