Different than wax paper though, a waxed cotton wrap will seal to a bowl or cup with a slight press of the hand, hugging bowls and other dishes with just the right amount of cling. To apply, simply press the waxed wrap down on your bowl or dish, and the warmth of your hand will heat the wax, sticking it to the bowl. The wax will cool again and hold the wrap in place around your bowl, while letting the food inside breathe and stay fresh. The wrap will also cling to itself, so for a sandwich on the go you can simply wrap your sandwich, press the edges of the waxed wrap together, and the heat from your hand will seal the sandwich inside.
