What a great bit of kit *by G***A on 11 April 2024* As an owner of a Dremel for a number of years now, when my trusty old 3000 finally gave up the ghost, i decided it was time to upgrade to this 8260. What actually swung the deal for me was'nt just the 2 3Ah batteries & the nice looking case but the reliability & sturdiness of the name DREMEL. Once i'd charged the batteries, the first job i did was to cut down some M4 machine screws which were too long. The gentle start up of the 8260 was amazing & the contour of the body made it almost pleasurable to hold. The cut off disc went through the thread with very little fuss & almost no sparks.
