I wanted to try something holistic instead of my steroid injections, I studied manuka and sorry for those of you who's Dr. said it is just the hype (A) unless your Dr. studies holistic medicine they will not understand it (B) your Dr. is taught just about big Pharma I know this because I worked in a Dr.s office and I worked EMS for years! This honey is NOT your standard honey (A) it is thick like a warm caramel and the coloring too (B) sweetness is dependent on if you crave sweets or salty foods, I prefer sweets so I enjoy this sweetness but there is a slight medicinal taste, I started with the lower MGO 10 so the higher you go the more medicinal it will become but so will the benefits! So start low and Do not expect the grocery store version you have grown familiar with! (C) This can be applied to wounds,eaten off a spoon or added to a hot beverage BUT if you choose this method wait 30-60 seconds before adding manuka so it keeps it antibacterial properties (D) Because this it comes from the tea tree unlike the honey you buy at grocery stores here, this honey has probiotic properties and can be helpful to those with H.
