The description states that it is "for the usable life of the product" but one of the reviews says the warranty period is for 1 year from the date of manufacture.** A: I just check my card and its 1 year. I would not worry though, its a great tool and now that its less than $100.00 through Prime its hard to beat. We have 2 Snap-On trucks in this area and one told me she would take care of it if ever needed. I'm guessing that any negative reviews might be from people thinking you can use it just as a regular ratchet. Its a delicate, extremely accurate tool designed to measure inch pounds.
