I wish I’d read the reviews first. I’m 56 and usually blonde and have had to cover root growth for a good few years now. I’ve been looking for an alternative to John freida dye I’ve used for years as they suddenly stopped selling it ! I’ve used the JR brand before and had very blonde results with good root coverage but despite the bond repair products it did feel very brittle and dry a couple of washes in. I chose this one due to the root blending claim as my roots are silver grey. This has not touched my roots at all and if anything has just made my hair more like the colour of the roots so they don’t show as much !! This may be the actual result they are looking for but I feel this colour has aged me 🥺.
