The hard case they come in last well even under constant air travel duress. The lenses are scratch resistant and stay safe in the lined case. I have had one pair for several years without incident with lots of worldwide travel. They have become hard to find although (thanks COVID). I did find them on desertcart and decided to pick up a couple extra pairs since my current pair have been in use for many years just so I don't have to find something different later down the road. They are just the right size. they are a bit delicate so you really need to put them back in the case when not using them. But that's ok, the case takes up almost no room and no weight.
