You need to use a disc rotor and fit it like a normal wheel to use the brake. the kit comes with a pair of brake levers which are equipped with micro switches. But for a 2000W motor, you need a min. 19.2Ah ( good quality cells) 48V and the most important part is the BMS. You need a min 45A BMS. this BMS is inside of the battery and works like a brain. The issue is that the connection between motor and controller is stuck and I can’t pull out neither of cables so I have to cut the wires now to change the brake disc. Very bad, I struggle a lot.
