Review: Don't give up after the 1st go - Before you even think of putting this on read the instructions carefully until you fully understand them and how this mask will affect you. The 1st few times of wearing this can be quite daunting so I would recomend using it around your house for the 1st few times so you can adjust your breathing to it. It starts working the moment you put it on and start working out, can feel a little scary but stick with it to achieve results. the mask itself is very fmuch in the same design of the masks we were all forced to wear during the pandemic so when wearing it outside no 1 will think any more or less of you wearing this. Very comfortable against my face, made with good quality materials and good design, with the velcros fastenings this mask will stay in place and not drop. 10 weeks in after using 3 xs a weeks I'm defiently feeling the benefits not just in my lumg capacity but general well being and for once I'm actually feeling like I've had a proper full mental and physical work out. Excellent value for money, presentation is wonderful with a fancy box you could send this as a gift and not worry about the presentation.

When you work hard ( I used it on the indoor bike) the seal doesn’t fit and air bypasses the exhalation valve and instead leaks past the seal taking away any resistance making it useless.

A durable, solid quality training mask that does the job. I got this for my husband who cycles indoor in preparation for a race. He said it fits him well and is comfortable to wear once it’s strapped correctly (unless if you mistakenly got the wrong size, then it’s totally a different case). The quality and material are very well constructed. He added that it does make him breathe more and also deeper, due to the excess weight. The valve control seems to work, the strap is nicely elasticated so it’s easy to adjust to fit the head and face. The strap does get wet a lot (due to the sweat), so hygienically, it should be washed regularly. This mask is available on Amazon for the current price of £39, which appears to be a comparable price for similar masks and possibly a little better quality than some. So, all in all, my husband is fairly satisfied with this mask and finds that the price to quality ratio is reasonable. As a result, I am more than happy to give this a positive rating.
