The mask looks pretty genuinely creepy both closed and raised. The different lighting possibilties and colors add a sense that you get several masks in one, on top of the two (with and sans cover) already included. However, the flip up part of the mask is really more of a temporary flourish than a full-time proposition. Walking around with the external mask raised is slightly awkward, and, while the skull mask underneath is a very cool looking mask, the led lighting is plainly apparent when the outer mask is raised, and not in a particularly cool way.I purchased several different LED light-up masks this past October, and this one was easily the favorite of everybody who saw it. It was also the easiest to simply wear. Little things speak to the thoughtfulness of the design, especially the fact that the led lighting control panel and switch are integrated directly into the mask (at the top of the forehead), instead of connected to a battery pack and control panel that must be kept elsewhere and which is connected by a wire. Doing it this way makes the mask both easier to use and less hassle to wear. Out of all of the led masks I purchased, this was the only one that had the integrated battery compartment and led base.The only thing that I really have to criticise is the actual size of the mask, which is quite small. It was more than a little uncomfortable to try to squeeze my not significantly large face into it. You could not tell it was too small from the outside perspective though. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Solid product, but will need padding *by W***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2018* Ordered two masks and received them well packaged and quicker than estimated.They are very durable and seem to function properly.One negative I have to mention is the lack of padding. Going from box to face isn't an option, either a headband must be worn or padding installed. Plus given the weight of the item, the strap needs to be very tight for mask to stay in place.
